Cotton Creek Capital Acquires Seatex
Austin, Texas – November 13, 2017 – Cotton Creek Capital, a Texas-based private equity firm, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Seatex, a leading provider of chemical blending and packaging services based in Rosenberg, Texas.
Seatex was founded in 1967 by David Jacobs as a provider of detergents and soaps. Over the next 45 years under Mr. Jacob’s ownership, the Company’s commitment to customer service and formulation capabilities facilitated its evolution into a diversified chemical solutions provider and created partnerships with leading customers across its end markets. Today, the Company produces a wide variety of proprietary and private label chemical formulations sold into the energy, cleaning, and industrial end markets. Seatex is strategically located outside Houston, Texas with multiple onsite rail spurs and access to major ports.
The Company will continue to be led by its current management team, including President Kelly Aimes and CFO Jim Nattier, both of whom will remain significant shareholders in the Company.
